Susan is a College of Charleston graduate that is currently working in Mt. Pleasant as an early
childhood/elementary school educator. Growing up on a lake in Pennsylvania, her love for swimming
began at an early age. This love for swimming led to her participating in swim team, becoming a
lifeguard and eventually running a summer camp program in Mt. Pleasant, where she taught swim
lesson to children across a variety of ages and skill levels. Susan has a passion for working with children
and families in her community. When she is not teaching school, you can find her working with children
in the Christian formation program at her church, walking her 2 rescue dogs or enjoying family time at
the beach!
