Elin is from Toledo, Ohio where she grew up in and around the pool and participated in a local
swim team. She is currently entering her senior year of high school at Pinewood Preparatory
School, where she enjoys running varsity cross country, track, and playing varsity soccer. Elin is
a three time state champion with Pinewood’s soccer team. At Pinewood, Elin has a “little
panther” that she meets with throughout the year, and additionally, she is part of the Teacher
Cadet program where she works with teachers and elementary students on a daily basis.
Outside of school and athletics, Elin enjoys being part of her church’s teen ministry, helping with
the youth ministry, and spending time with her (family) three year old niece and family.
