About Your Lesson Structure

At Charleston Swim, we adhere to a structured lesson format designed to maximize learning and ensure a positive experience for all our swimmers.

The first 5 minutes of your lesson are dedicated to entering the pool and getting acclimated to the water. This initial phase helps swimmers ease into the aquatic environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and ready to begin their lesson.  The bulk of your lesson (between 20 and 35 minutes, depending on the lesson length) is where active instruction from your teacher takes place. During this time, our dedicated teachers will provide expert guidance, focusing on skill development, technique, and building confidence in the water.  As the lesson nears its conclusion, the last 5 minutes are reserved for valuable feedback between the teacher and the swimmer, or their guardian if applicable. This feedback session allows for personalized insights, progress assessments, and an opportunity to address any questions or concerns.

Our commitment to this structured lesson format ensures that every swimmer receives the attention and guidance they need to progress in their swimming journey, with our experienced teachers leading the way.
